Briony is a part-time consultant delivering small business support and advice to new and established businesses on the west coast. She is also the manager of IGA Everyday in Queenstown. Previously, Briony worked on the north-west coast where she gained experience in financial administration.

Briony has lived on Tasmania’s west coast for the past eight years. As a manager in a business, Briony understands the unique issues that small businesses face, particularly the challenges in a region subject to significant variations of demands on business throughout the year.

Melissa Coffey is employed as a project consultant with Moore Consulting, as well as a small business consultant with Braddon Business Centre. 

Melissa has a Bachelor of Information Systems, expertise in website development, and is experienced in a range of different areas including business administration, information systems, database development and project management.

Melissa is currently managing the BRAD (Business Regional Analysis Database) project for the Braddon Business Centre Inc.  BRAD is a local initiative that will identify and assess the major issues and opportunities faced by small businesses throughout north-west Tasmania.

Warren has a Bachelor of Economics, a Diploma of Education, and experience as a secondary school teacher.  He drew on his education and experience to establish the Hellyer Training Services, a SkillShare project.

Within three years the organisation went from one employee to 40 staff, generating an annual turnover of almost $3.5 million. Warren then left to establish the West Coast Development Board based in Strahan.

After establishing the Board Warren graduated with a Masters Degree in Business Administration he then returned to Burnie to practice as an accountant.  He started as a management consultant and within two years established his current business, Moore Consulting in 1999. His experience and practical advice has helped many clients to establish and grow their business.
